International Bachfest Malaysia 2025

Dr David Chin, Founder and Artistic Director, Bachfest Malaysia

11-Jul-25 15:30

International Bachfest Malaysia 2025

It’s not every day that a homegrown music festival hits the 10-year mark, and does so by going international! Bachfest Malaysia is celebrating a decade of connecting people through the timeless music of Johann Sebastian Bach, and this year’s lineup is bigger, bolder, and more global than ever. We speak to the man behind it all, Dr David Chin, the founder and artistic director of Bachfest Malaysia, to tell us what’s in store for the International Bachfest Malaysia 2025, which is themed Bridging Bach. David is also Director of the Bach Collegium, a Music Professor at Augustana University in Sioux Falls in South Dakota, and a Senior Fellow of the Bach Archive in Leipzig, Germany.
