Tried and Tested Treatment for Jellyfish Stings

The joys of tropical beaches and playing in the water can be quickly scarred by the burning stings of jellyfish. Hundreds of jellyfish species float across Southeast Asia, and some, like box jellyfish, are particularly lethal. In the unfortunate case of a jellyfish sting, what should we do? Would urine and seawater wash the tentacles away ? No, says Dr Yanagihara who studies jellyfish toxins. Yanagihara teaches us the right methods instead.
