Because Feelings Matter #21: “Not Letting The Waves Pull Me Under”: A Business Leader’s Account Of Living With Bipolar Disorder

You would not expect a senior manager of a second-generation family business to be successful amid the depressive lows and manic highs of bipolar disorder. But Ning-Jia Ong has overcome several mental health crises since his initial diagnosis, and learnt to recognise, as well as manage, his condition. This episode of ‘Because Feelings Matter’ follows Ning-Jia’s journey through his difficult university years, to surviving the stressful world of corporate consultancy.

Every mental health struggle has a story behind it. ‘Because Feelings Matter’ is a series that brings you the stories of people and their mental health issues. This series is produced in collaboration with Thrive Well.
