Many women are terrified at the diagnosis of breast cancer, for reasons beyond the cancer itself. A lot of the fears revolve around the notion of breast cancer surgery and what that will entail. We explore whether a lumpectomy is better than a mastectomy when it comes to surgery for treating breast cancer.
