Building Fire-Safe Hospitals

Fire safety is important in any building, but it is especially crucial in hospitals because of the vulnerability of patients as well as the sheer number of people who live and work there. So how are public hospitals in Malaysia built to ensure that it is fire-safe? What are dangers that lurk in hospitals? We speak to urban planner Mustapha Kamal to find out how hospitals can be maintained to meet fire safety standards.
