For Every Baby, A Fighting Chance

A baby born below 37 weeks has a lot of hurdles to overcome. But with the right medical and nursing care, parental love and community support, we can give every premature baby a fighting chance to survive and to thrive. In conjunction with Prematurity Awareness Month in November, we speak to Dr Azanna Ahmad Kamar, Consultant Paediatric Neonatologist, Universiti Malaya Medical Centre; Halimatun Saadiah, former Senior Neonatal Nurse, Universiti Malaya Medical Centre; and Joanne Kok, parent, to discuss all aspects of caring for preemies, especially transitioning to caring for your baby at home.
