Doctor in the House: Trump Care and the World

The American Health Care Act, now being called “Trump Care” and even “Obamacare Lite”, is Donald Trump’s new healthcare bill that attempts to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act, or as more popularly known, “Obamacare”. This new bill has received massive opposition from Doctors from many different healthcare organisations and even from grassroot communities such as coal miners. Joining us for this week’s Doctor In the House with Dr George Lee is Azrul Mohd Khalib, Sr Manager for External Relations from The Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs (IDEAS), where we discuss the impact of Trump’s new healthcare plan and its potential effect on healthcare in other countries.
