Health & Living Live 2018 Part 4 of 5: Growing Old is a Gift

Living longer does not always equate to better quality of life. Malaysia will be an ageing nation by 2035, and psychological and physical barriers may affect access to care for the elderly. What’s needed, is a community-based geriatric healthcare programme, incorporating active collaboration of health, social welfare, and legal sectors. At the recent Health and Living Live 2018 event, we explored how to achieve that, to make life truly worth living for.
