Healthy Ageing: How Speech-Language Therapy Helps Older Adults

When we hear speech therapy, some of us might think that it’s mainly for children with speech disorders, or for stroke survivors to learn how to speak again. But is there more to speech therapy, especially for older adults? On this episode of Healthy Ageing, we speak to speech-language therapist Tay Chia Yi to find out how speech therapy can help to improve the quality of life for older adults, and thus their overall physical and mental well-being.
