While the COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted issues faced by various healthcare specialties, not much has been discussed when it comes to palliative care. However, it is important that patients with chronic and life-threatening diseases continue to receive palliative care despite the pandemic and the measures taken to mitigate it. Here to help us understand how the pandemic has and will change palliative care is Dr Ednin Hamzah, CEO of Hospis Malaysia.
