How Deadly are Head and Neck Cancers?

Nosebleeds, chronic pain in the neck or throat, unusual bleeding in the mouth – these are some of the many symptoms of head and neck cancers. How do you detect head and neck cancers, and what are the treatment options to ensure better survival? Joining us to shed light on this group of cancers are Dr Yap Beng Khiong, consultant clinical oncologist and Dr Eng Chee Yean, consultant ENT-Head & neck, thyroid and parathyroid surgeon, from Subang Jaya Medical Centre.
