How MND Malaysia Supports People with Motor Neuron Disease

Motor neuron disease (MND) - also known as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis - is a progressive neurological condition that leads to weakness and wasting of the muscles. It is estimated that there are probably more than 2,000 Malaysians with MND, with 600 new cases diagnosed every year. We speak to Benny Ng, Chairman, and Soo Cheong Futt, Vice-Chairman, of MND Malaysia to find out how the NGO supports people living with motor neuron disease and their caregivers. Find out more about MND Malaysia’s ice bucket challenge on their website, and Facebook page.
