 If you’re over 60, or if you’re caring for an elderly family member, you’re no stranger to health issues like diabetes or heart disease. But the mental health of our senior citizens may not be something we pay enough attention to. What are the mental health issues that are prevalent among our elderly, and how do we recognise them? We find out more from Dr Wan Izwin Wan Hassan, consultant psychiatrist specialising in geriatric psychiatry, from Subang Jaya Medical Centre.
