International Women’s Day: Living For More Tomorrows

Breast cancer is a journey of discovery. At every stage of the disease, women discover their true strengths, reveal their resilience, and find hope for recovery. Meanwhile, new discoveries in therapies have led to better treatment that can improve the lives of women diagnosed with advanced breast cancer. In conjunction with International Women’s Day, Sew Boon Lui, a metastatic breast cancer patient and president of the Society for Cancer Advocacy and Awareness (SCAN) Kuching, shares with us how she has prevailed in her cancer journey. She also offers hope for women in overcoming significant challenges following their diagnosis, especially in dealing with the financial and emotional burden.
