Many diabetic patients can sometimes underestimate the dangers of cuts and wounds - contributing to the horrifying statistic of a foot being cut off every 20 seconds - largely due to improper wound care and management of individuals with Type 2 diabetes. Dr. Harikrishna Nair, President of the Malaysian Society of Wound Care Professionals, joins us to discuss how to tackle this limb loss with proper wound treatment.
