Dr Yong De Jun’s life seemed to be mapped out - a bright young man with a promising career in surgery, and a desire to help others. Then came an unexpected diagnosis of heart failure, and a cloud over his future. Consultant cardiologist Prof Dr Chee Kok Han shares some advice on managing outcomes for patients throughout this lifelong journey.
