About half of the Malaysian population are either overweight or obese, and it’s not surprising when Malaysia is the fattest nation in Southeast Asia. But being overweight or obese isn’t just about how someone looks, but how it impacts them physically - and mentally. Syed Amierul Asyraf joins us on this episode to share how he came to terms with his weight and the struggles of making lifestyle changes, and clinical psychologist Lavender Tan sheds more light on the links between obesity and mental health.
