We talk to Prof Dr Cheong Sok Ching from Cancer Research Malaysia; and Assoc Prof Dr Chan Chee Seng from the Department of Artificial Intelligence, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Malaya – two researchers in Malaysia who have just been awarded a grant by the Medical Research Council UK to develop an AI-enabled mobile phone app for early detection of oral cancer.
