Parents Struggle With Mental Health Problems Too

In conjunction with World Mental Health Day in October, we’re looking at the mental health struggles that parents and children are facing, especially in the post-COVID normal. While there are a lot of concerns about the impact of the pandemic and increasing social media exposure on children’s mental well-being, we are also shining a spotlight on whether parents’ mental health challenges are being adequately recognised and supported. Licensed counsellor Heeran Kaur joins consultant developmental paediatrician Dr Rajini Sarvananthan for this conversation.
