Arthritis Foundation Malaysia (AFM) has always been helping arthritis patients get access to surgery. However, AFM now wishes to intervene before the condition reaches the end stage by providing access to effective treatment. Today, President of AFM, Dr Sargunan Sockalingam focuses on ankylosing spondylitis, a form of disease that affects young adults, with its symptoms starting as early as 17 to below 40 years old.
