The traditional doctor-patient relationship has evolved from the typical top-down approach, as more patients are better informed about their health, rights and treatments available. This improved relationship has opened the door to a more consultative process between patients and their doctors, so how will this change the way doctors communicate with their patients, and vice versa? Our panel of speakers took a patient-centred approach to tackle current and challenging issues in the medico-legal scene at the recent Health and Living Live 2018 event.
