Unpacking the Health White Paper #3: The Future of MOH

This is another episode of our mini series Unpacking the Health White Paper, in which we break down some of the reforms that have been suggested in the recently passed health white paper, which lays the foundation for health reforms in the next 15 years and more.

One of the key proposals is to restructure the Ministry of Health and split up the various roles that it currently plays as payer, provider, regulator and policymaker. What would this look like and will it destabilise the current healthcare system or provide some much needed relief to the Ministry? We unpack this with Dr Khor Swee Kheng, specialist in health systems.
