That burning sensation in your chest or a sour taste in the back of your mouth – it’s a familiar feeling for many. But are you in the habit of brushing it off? Maybe you think you’ve just eaten too much spicy food? You may want to think twice – heartburn is a sign of acid reflux, which could progress into something more serious if it is left untreated. Dr Saravana Kumar Karunanathy, Consultant Gastroenterologist & Hepatologist from ParkCity Medical Centre joins us to explain more.
