This weekend, the 14th edition of the Freedom Film Festival will commence its week-long programme of documentary screenings, talks and workshops. Festival director Anna Har explains why this year’s proceedings will focus on the United Nations’ Declaration of Human Rights and talks about the incorporation of virtual reality in documentary filmmaking. Joining her is first-time filmmaker Nor Arlene Tan, whose film “Selfie with the Prime Minister” will premiere at the festival.
