Ending Violence Against Children

Next Thursday is Universal Children’s Day, designated by the United Nations’ General Assembly in 1959 to be observed on November 20th every year. This year’s theme is “Stop Violence Against Children.” We speak to interns at the Malaysian Child Resource Institute about how they will be collaborating with the #EndViolence against children campaign, as well as the work they are doing in two areas often neglected in children’s rights - a child’s right to play and to participation.
