With the tagline “Life is short, have an affair,” Ashley Madison is an online dating website which facilitates adultery. With 22 million members in 34 countries, the website was recently banned in Singapore due to public outreach before its scheduled launch in October. We ask Dr. Johnben Loy about the impact of such websites on marriages and whether infidelity is tolerated more in certain cultures than others.
