Jill Sheffield, founder of both the NGO Family Care International and the Women: Deliver conference, has worked tirelessly since her twenties to help women and children worldwide access the healthcare they need. Viewing maternal health as a pillar of sustainable development, she has striven to encourage financial investment and generate political will to change the state of maternal health globally.
