Landmark #19: Cyber Harassment

CyberSecurity Malaysia, an agency under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, recorded 221 cases of cyber harassment as of April this year. It considers cyber harassment the third most dangerous threat after fraud and intrusion. One group looking to address this is the Malaysian Centre for Constitutionalism and Human Rights, or MCCHR, who together with other human rights activists have formed a coalition and launch the PeopleACT campaign to find a solution.
