Landmark #11: Religious Freedom

Roneey Rebit - a Sarawakian Bidayuh man who was converted to Islam by his parents when he was a child - has been legally recognized as a Christian, the religion of his choice. This came after the Kuching High Court recently ruled that it was in accordance with the applicant’s constitutional right to freedom of religion, as he was now an adult. Joining us in the studio to discuss the significance of this ruling was lawyer Datuk Malik Imtiaz Sarwar.
