But Professor Naveed Ahmed Khan found in 2010 that the brain of cockroaches could be a source of much-needed antibiotics against multidrug-resistant bacteria. Professor Naveed, a microbiologist, explained how far this research has progressed as well as the role of cockroaches in the world.
