In 1967, the south-eastern portion of Nigeria seceded as the Republic of Biafra, triggering a civil war that threatened to tear the young Nigerian nation apart. Nnamdi Kanu, who is the director of Radio Biafra in London, joins us to discuss the legacy of that three-year long civil war and why the desire of Biafrans to secede persists to this day.
