Parenting in the Digital Age

Smartphones, tablets and laptops are creating a whole generation of kids born into original digital sin. With children spending anywhere from six to 12 hours a day in front of a screen, parents who don't restrict their children's internet usage risk exposing them to explicit lyrics and violent images prematurely, but those who do risk preparing them for a world that no longer exists. In a generation where everyone is a public figure, is there a middle ground approach when it comes to parenting? We ask child development expert Ruth Liew about the challenges of parenting in the digital age.
