Curriculum #14: Preventing Abuse in the Classroom

Cases of child sexual abuse has been increasing over the past five years, with anecdotal evidence suggesting as many as one in 10 children in Malaysia have experienced abuse. One way Suriana Welfare Society Malaysia - an NGO focused on child protection - is trying to arrest this trend is through its ChildSafe programme. Here with me to tell me more is Scott Wong, Suriana’s executive director.
