The Genesis of Konfrontasi

Professor Greg Poulgrain’s book, “The Genesis of Konfrontasi,” examines the confrontation between Malaysia and Indonesia during the 1963-66 period. Originally published in 1998, it went out of print but local publisher SIRD is bringing it back to the market at a book launch this Saturday. The book looked at previously classified documents and provides an alternate narrative to the official history of Indonesia as the initiator and main aggressor of the conflict.
