Drug addiction continues to be a problem in Malaysia. More than 40% of the 37,000 prisoners in Malaysia are incarcerated for drug-related offences – most often for minor offences. Fresh from a working visit to drug treatment centres in Zurich, YB Dr. Haji Noor Azmi Ghazali, MP for Bagan Serai, and Fifa Rahman, Policy Manager of the Malaysian AIDS Council, are here to share what they’ve learned.
