The Prisoners' Diaries: Palestinian Voices From the Israeli Gulag

Norma Hashim of Viva Palestina Malaysia has compiled the recollections of 22 Palestinian prisoners who were incarcerated for varying lengths of time during the on-going Israeli occupation. Richard Falk, international law expert, said of the compilation: "The diaries [confirm] that even prolonged captivity [has] not diluted the spirit of Palestinian resistance to Israeli occupation, but on the contrary [has] intensified it."

Here to tell us more, in conjunction with Palestinian Prisoners' Day, is Norma Hashim herself, and she is joined by Ahmad Barakat, a Viva Palestina Malaysia activist with extensive experience working with Palestinian prisoners.
