To Fight Corruption, We Must Compel Politicians to Declare Their Assets

Transparency International Malaysia (TI-M) has once again called on the Prime Minister and his administration to compel all members of parliament to declare their assets to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC). TI-M has also said that we need to push for a Bill to be tabled in Parliament in the form of an Asset Declaration Act or something similar. 

But why is asset declaration important?
