Dialog Rakyat, the movement to build national unity, recently organized a forum to discuss the role universities play in nation building. Two individuals behind this movement Tan Sri Omar Abdul Rahman, who served for 16 years as the National Science Advisor, and Datuk Halimah Mohd Said, president of the Association of Voices of Peace, Conscience and Reason, join us to discuss their efforts to develop a set of principles on how Malaysians should conduct themselves if national cohesion is to be achieved, and their plans to involve resident associations across the country next.
