Humanitarian Development #1: What Defines Humanitarian Action?

August 19th was World Humanitarian Day. We will be doing a series on shows over the next few weeks in collaboration with Mercy Malaysia - in the lead up to International Day of Peace on September 21st - to highlight the demands placed on humanitarian workers in responding to ever-evolving crises, inequities in aid distribution and challenges in financing. On this first episode, Mercy Malaysia President Dato Dr Ahmad Faizal Perdaus helps define what humanitarian action is.
