Women, Wealth, and Their Financial Health

Women today are increasingly taking the lead when it comes to their financial decisions. But in spite of that, are there still factors that affect women's wealth compared to men's - pay discrepancy, career breaks, longer life expectancy, etc. - that result in women having less, and not meeting their financial goals? What are women looking for when it comes to investing and managing their wealth for the long-term, not just for themselves, but for their loved ones too? We discuss this and more with Ahmad Shareza Bin Abdul Rahman, the Head of Islamic Wealth Management & Business Development at Maybank Islamic, and Siti Nita Zuhra Binti Mohd Nazri, Chief Bancassurance Officer at Etiqa, about what women want and need when it comes to managing their wealth. Both guests also discuss the philosophies behind Islamic Wealth Management, and how its focus on wealth purification and wealth distribution appeals to not just women, but all those looking for a socially-conscious and sustainable way to manage their wealth.
