30 Years of Roots & Shoots

30 Years of Roots & Shoots

It all began 30 years ago in Tanzania, on primatologist Dr. Jane Goodall's front porch. Surrounded by a group of students who felt powerless to solve the problems around them, Jane encouraged them to use their voices and ideas to address the issues they saw, head on. And thus, Roots & Shoots was born. Today, we explore the global impact of this youth movement, and also how our local chapter is working towards creating a roadmap with a better future for all in mind.
