A River Ran Through It

Ir Haji Mansor Ghani, Deputy Hon. Secretary of Friends of Rivers, Malaysia (FoRM)

29-Sep-20 14:30

A River Ran Through It

In Malaysia, 5% of our river basins are severely polluted and 42% are polluted, leaving only 53% of all rivers classified as "clean". It was World Rivers Day on Sunday, and the theme was “Day of Action for Rivers”. In conjunction with that, we will speak to folks who have been taking action for years now, to rehabilitate and maintain the health of their neighbourhood river, over in Taman Melawati, Kuala Lumpur.
