Late last week, the trailer for upcoming movie “Songbird” was released to much criticism about it being exploitative - because it depicts a horror movie-like setting of America still in lockdown in 2024, with a mutated version of Covid-19. We look at the question of, how soon is too soon? Are we ready for fictional representations of our current struggles with the pandemic?
