Dubbed a "shared policy" the Malaysian Forestry Policy, which was launched last Sunday, will serve as a reference and guide to forestry policies adopted in Peninsula Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak. The formulation of the policy is said to be a manifestation of the country’s commitment toward implementing sustainable forest management.
