COVID-19 SOPs: How Prescriptive Should They Be?

Since the first MCO last year, we’ve adapted to living with COVID-19 SOPs. But these SOPs often also cause confusion among the people that it aims to regulate, especially when they are often changed, seemingly without a clear rationale. So how prescriptive can our SOPs be, especially when we’re trying to keep up with the science? Should we simply ban any activities that increase the risk of COVID-19 transmission?
