Television series “Emily in Paris” has become a cultural and social media phenomenon of sorts since it was released on Netflix in early October - but not necessarily because it is great or because people loved it. Instead, it’s become popular as the perfect pandemic watch (or hate-watch), and has spawned thousands of memes and parodies on social media - including some very funny Malaysian ones. So we put on our berets, grab a crepe, and settle back to see whether Emile is très chic or très cliche!
