Since the beginning of the Movement Control Order, #SapotLokal has been a common refrain to encourage Malaysians to support local businesses as a way of helping them cope with the economic difficulties. In line with this, social media platform The Loud Asians has launched a “Digital CMCO Bank” to help amplify struggling local businesses or individuals. We find out more about the initiative and why #SapotLokal is so essential.
