A Medusa Sculpture for the #MeToo Age

A statue that reimagines the Greek myth of Medusa, called "Medusa With the Head of Perseus" is being installed across from the criminal court in New York City, to honour the #MeToo movement. In line with that, we look at the practice of reframing popular myths and folklore to empower women, and how art can be an effective way of doing that.
