The Daily Digest: Remembering Adelina Sao

A year ago, domestic helper Adelina Sao died from abuse. She had been found with head injuries and infected wounds on her limbs, and she had been forced to sleep on the porch beside her employer’s dog. A year on, Tenaganita calls for tougher laws to protect domestic workers. We look back on the case and the need for justice for Adelina. We take a look at the situation as Tenaganita calls for tougher laws to be introduced.
