What's In a Name? A Lot, For Taman Rimba Kiara

There was a flurry of activity around Taman Rimba Kiara last week, when first, there was an announcement by DBKL that the park was being renamed to Taman Awam Bukit Kiara. That same afternoon, visitors to Taman Rimba Kiara spotted workers putting up six-foot high poles across the park. The area is subject to a long-running court battle between residents and DBKL, and whose case is now before the Court of Appeal. We dissect these new developments.
